Central Analytical Laboratory
The Central Analytical Laboratory is designed to characterize radwaste (determination of physical, chemical, radiation properties) of all species, types, categories and groups, as well as to determine the compliance of radwaste characteristics with the criteria for acceptance for storage and disposal.

Description of the service
The composition of the CAL equipment meets the requirements of both current tasks and future needs in radwaste management. The issues of supporting experimental activities in the development of new technologies for radwaste management are also taken into account.
The CAL has the potential to become a tool for ensuring a uniform measurement procedure for all organizations in Ukraine dealing with radwaste management. The CAL should fill the gap in the general scheme of radwaste management in Ukraine, acting as a verifier between the parties involved in the process (radwaste supplier, radwaste processor, storage operator).
Stages of service provision
Stage 1
Processing of the application for the analysis of materials
Departure of the team for sampling or sending samples by mail. The time and place of the fence must be indicated.
Stage 2
Referral of sample samples for necessary analyzes
For the most accurate results, the samples go through several stages of processing, depending on the type of sample (liquid, solid, bulk).
Stage 3
Obtaining and processing results
The customer receives expert opinions on the radiation background of the samples.
